 BrownStone Physical Therapy is an outpatient, private-practice, physical therapy office with locations in Macedon, Newark, and Victor, NY. Founded in 1994 by sole-owner Clarke Brown, BrownStone has become an integral part of the Rochester area system of health care.  We welcome your questions, comments, and invite you to use this site as a source of medical information and help.

   Our mission is to assist in the care and prevention of orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries, athletic and non-athletic alike.  With the latest research as our guide, we use current rehabilitation techniques and state-of-the-art medical equipment to restore and maximize function.  Our strongest asset is our staff that is comprised of some of the most highly credentialed professional physical therapists in the area. 

    Clarke is the owner and founder of BrownStone Physical Therapy.  He earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY at Buffalo in 1985.  His education continued with graduate work at Pittsburgh University in 1990.  He earned his Doctorate in physical therapy from Daemen College in 2004. 

    Dan has been a BrownStone  physical therapy staff member for four years and manages the Victor office.  He earned his Masters degree in physical therapy from Nazareth College and completed his Doctorate degree from Upstate Medical University in 2009.

    Karen is an exercise specialist with a certification from AFAA for Fitness Counselor and Personal Trainer, who runs excercise classes for ALL AGES.  She has also worked as an office assistant with BrownStone for four years.

    Betsy serves as BrownStone's Clinical Director.  She completed her undergraduate work at Quinnipiac University then received her Masters degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College and has recently completed her education to receive her Doctorate in physical therapy from University of Montana.

    Michelle is BrownStone's transcriptionist and administrative assistant.  She has been with us for six years.

    Tricia has been with the BrownStone team for four years.  She practices with thirteen years of experience as a physical therapist.  Her undergraduate degree in Biology is from LeMoyne College and she completed her Masters degree in physical therapy at the SUNY Health Science Center.

    Laura has been a physical therapist for BrownStone for four years.  Her undergrauate degree is from SUNY Geneseo. She earned her Masters degree in physical therapy at Nazareth College.

    Sheila is BrownStone's Chief Operating Officer.  She has a communications degree from Miami of Ohio University. She is a pivotal part of her community and has served as a Board Member for the Marcus Whitman School District for nine years. 

    Anna is BrownStone's office manager.  She has performed this vital role for over seven years now!

    Matt is the newest member of BrownStone's physical therapy staff.  He completed his Doctorate degree in physical therapy this year at Daemen College where he earned the Richard Schweichler Academic Award for graduating at the top of the class.  He also received his undergraduate degree from Daemen College in 2008.

    Cesar graduated from Temple University in 1996.  He worked for Temple Sports Medicine for two years prior to being an athletic trainer for Drexel University for seven years.  He now serves as the Director of Athletic Training services for BrownStone Physical Therapy.

    Angeline graduated from the athletic training program at Stonybrook University.  She has been with BrownStone for three years.
